I did this piece for my dear friend and former boss Tim Neal. When I painted this I had no idea that Tim was dying of Prostate Cancer. He did not tell many of us for a long time...At the end of his journey he told me how ironic it was that I painted that for him and he was going that battle...let it be known that this was the 1st piece of art I ever sold. Tim wanted to be the 1st and insisted on paying me for this gift.
Tim lost his battle with Prostate Cancer in September of 2008. His brother Brad is an advocate for Prostate Cancer Awareness. This year their climb took them to the summit of Mt. Cotapoxi in Equador. Tim's ashes were release by Brad. We sure miss that guy!! Love you brother!!
